Join the Maryland Aviation Council
Maryland Aviation Council (MAC) understands the positive impact aeronautical enterprises have on Maryland’s economy. A well informed, active council can provide elected officials and policymakers with information necessary for the passage of sound legislation beneficial to aviation and airports.
We offer a variety of membership options and ways you or your business can support MAC’s mission. Keep scrolling to learn about the membership levels and committees.
Membership Levels
Membership dues are on the calendar year, January 1 through December 31. Dues received after 10/1/2023 are valid for 2024 membership.
Airport and Government Membership
$250
Membership for public authority, commission, governmental agency or board engaged in the establishment, ownership, administration, operation or management of public airports.
Corporate Membership
$250
Membership for any non-governmental corporation any non-governmental corporation or business that wishes to support the Maryland Aviation Council.
Educational Institution Membership
$250
Membership for aviation museums, colleges, and other organizations dedicated to aviation education.
Individual Membership
$50
Membership for individuals with an interest in aviation or airports in Maryland can join MAC. This level is not intended to represent entities such as airport commissions, consultant companies, etc.
Student Membership
$25
Membership for individuals enrolled in post-secondary education or training programs.
Honorary Membership
No Fee
Membership for individuals who have rendered distinguished service to aviation and/or airports in Maryland over a period of not less than ten years. An Honorary Member may be elected by a vote of the Board of Directors.
MAC Committee Opportunities
Committees identify concerns, find opportunities, and formulate actions for the MAC membership to consider. When you join MAC, please select a committee you would like to join so we can leverage your expertise to make the biggest impact towards our mission.
o Airport Committee: Identifies the concerns and needs of the airport operation members.
o Industry Committee: Identifies the concerns and needs of the aviation service provider members.
o Airport Consultants Committee: Identifies the concerns and needs of the airport consultant members.
o Pilot Committee: Identifies the concerns and needs of the pilot members.
o Legislative Committee: Responsible for staying abreast of all state, federal, and local legislative issues that will affect MAC members or the industry.
o Marketing & Membership Committee: Responsible for increasing awareness of MAC within all facets of the industry and working to increase active membership.
o Conference Planning Committee: Responsible for planning and conducting the annual conference and other membership meetings or events.
