Our Mission & OBJECTIVES
The Maryland Aviation Council (MAC) actively promotes the growth of aviation to help meet the transportation and economic development needs of Maryland.
The organization promotes and encourages cooperation, assistance, and information exchange among entities and individuals concerned with aeronautical activities in Maryland. The council provides a forum where representatives of airports, aviation businesses and organizations, governments, and aviators can exchange information, ideas, and professional expertise. This also includes creating, collecting, and distributing information on matters affecting aviation and airport development.
We believe a well informed, active council can provide elected officials and policy makers with information necessary for the passage of sound legislation beneficial to aviation and airports.
