EMBA Picnic Honors 2024 Pilots for Passport Challenge Completion

On Saturday, October 19, the Explore Maryland By Air (EMBA) program honored several dedicated pilots who completed the EMBA Passport Challenge! Jackets and certificates were awarded in recognition of their achievements during a celebratory picnic at Ocean City Municipal Airport.

The EMBA program encourages pilots to explore vibrant general aviation network while experiencing the state’s unique culture. Participants received a passport and collected stamps at airports and aviation museums throughout the state, earning recognition upon completion.

While the program is paused for new signups in 2024, the Maryland Aviation Council anticipates relaunching EMBA in 2025. More information and details to come, stay tuned!
